Position Overview
The Night Auditor is responsible for overnight front desk operations and daily financial reconciliation of the hotel. This role ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, smooth guest service during night hours, and compliance with UAE hospitality standards and hotel policies.

Reports To: Front Office Manager / Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Operations
Manage front desk operations during the night shift
Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
Respond to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies professionally
Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy in the PMS
Coordinate with security and housekeeping during night operations
Night Audit & Financial Duties
Perform daily night audit procedures and balance all hotel transactions
Reconcile room charges, cash, credit cards, and city ledger accounts
Prepare and distribute daily revenue and occupancy reports
Verify postings from all revenue outlets (F&B, spa, laundry, etc.)
Close the business day in the Property Management System (PMS)
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, UAE audit standards, and internal controls
Secure cash floats, deposits, and sensitive financial documents
Report discrepancies, variances, or irregularities to management
Follow UAE data protection and confidentiality standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, or Finance preferred
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Night Auditor or Front Office Associate in a hotel
Experience with hotel PMS (Opera, Protel, IDS, or similar systems)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and revenue reporting
Previous GCC or UAE hotel experience is an advantage

Excellent communication and guest service skills
Good command of English (Arabic is an advantage)
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)
