Position Overview
The Mixologist is responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with UAE hospitality standards, licensing laws, and hotel policies. The role requires creativity, product knowledge, speed, and strict adherence to responsible service practices.

Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
Prepare classic, signature, and contemporary cocktails according to approved recipes
Serve beverages efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality
Ensure compliance with UAE alcohol licensing regulations and venue policies
Promote premium spirits, wines, and signature beverages to increase revenue
Maintain attractive bar presentation and mise en place at all times
Guest Experience
Engage guests professionally and courteously
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages and pairings
Handle guest feedback or complaints in a calm and professional manner
Maintain a high level of personal grooming and professional appearance
Operational & Compliance Duties
Verify legal drinking age and follow responsible service guidelines
Monitor guest consumption and refuse service when required, per policy
Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the bar area
Comply with UAE food safety and hygiene regulations
Follow cash handling and POS procedures accurately
Inventory & Cost Control
Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and wastage reduction
Ensure correct storage of beverages and bar supplies
Report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies to management
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a hotel, lounge, or upscale bar
Formal training or certification in Bartending / Mixology preferred
Strong knowledge of international spirits, wines, cocktails, and bar trends
Experience working in licensed venues (hotel bars, lounges, restaurants)
Previous UAE or GCC experience is an advantage
